Our DJ's will play your guests requests on the night. They are friendly and helpful. Well presented and punctual. Our DJ's love to make you dance from the classics 50s/60s through to the top 40. They will play the songs from the songlist sent to you (when you book) also using their knowledge to get people up on the dance floor.
Our DJ’s and have proven themselves to be good and reliable over a period of years at different functions.
We have comment sheets sent out to the client after every function to keep our DJ‘s and Equipment up to standard.
Being a company and not a one man disco, we have a back up DJ and equipment if (in the unlikely event) anything goes wrong:
Eg: - The DJ is sick - He has a Car Accident. - Flat Tyre.. etc
We work in with the client and guests to prevent stress and worry, so you can enjoy your evening..

Equipment:
All our disco rigs come with a two stand lighting show consisting of 8 RGB 86 LED flashing coloured lights. We also have 4 night club lights which create patterns around the room as well as a mirror ball effect light.
A strobe, 2 UV Lights (black light) plus 2 Laser Lights making a total of 18 lights included in this package.

We have professional sound systems which cater to any venue size... all our music is of commercial recording industry standard, higher quality than iTunes or streamed music which is not suitable for use in large areas or gatherings. ...the quality difference is like comparing Blu-ray to Video tapes. Pricing: $550 - up to 4 hours (negotiation over 4 hours) Contact us for a quote. It depends on hours and if your function is outside of Christchurch.

DJ's Alert are a double DJ team that work together to make your night flow smoothly and keep the dance floor pumping.. for your Wedding, Birthdays, Schools, Christmas and Corporate Functions. - note (same price as one Dj).

We will send you a songlist where you can choose some of your favorite songs and we will organise a playlist mixed with our knowledge and your guests requests on the night.

Our music knowledge can cater to any age and we are flexible to play any type of function. Our energetic dj performance will keep the party alive and if requested (extra charge) we can do Disco/Karaoke.

Disco/Karaoke Combo: After putting our singing/band skills together with our love of djing we can offer ourselves as a Disco Karaoke team where we are dedicated to make you sing and dance the night away.

Full time Djs/Entertainers/Karaoke Hosts, we have done everything over the years and even played in bands with many pub residencies in and around Canterbury.

I have been djing for quite a few years now and love my job. I'm not a big talker but I will announce the first dance etc and boogie behind the disco rig. I love music and can’t keep still.

I will read the crowd and play guests requests. When you book, a song list is sent to you so you can choose your favourite songs and I will mix it in with my knowledge to keep the dance floor pumping ....or you can leave it completely up to me, the choice is yours.

I’m the private function specialist and get requests, also regular gigs that I do every year for businesses/associations. I don't do pubs and clubs. Love Djing Weddings, 18th, 21st Birthdays, School Formals and Balls.

I cater to all ages and all types of groups and get you up dancing!
